The QUALIFICA Program allows people over the age of 18 to obtain a school certification (4th, 6th, 9th and 12th years).

What is the QUALIFICA Program

The Qualifica Program is a program aimed at qualifying adults. This program aims to improve the levels of education and training of adults, contributing to the improvement of the population's qualification levels and the the employability of individuals. The Qualifica Program is based on a qualification strategy that integrates educational and training responses, and diverse instruments, which promote the qualification of adults.

Objectives of the QUALIFICA program

This program seeks to achieve the following objectives:

  • Increase qualification levels and improve the employability of assets, providing them with skills adjusted to the needs of the labor market;

  • Significantly reduce illiteracy rates, also combating semi-literacy;

  • Valuing the system, promoting greater investment by young adults in education and training paths;

  • Correct the structural backwardness of the country in terms of schooling towards greater convergence with the European reality;

  • Adapt the offer and the training network to the needs of the labor market and to national and regional development models.

The IEC joined this national initiative, collaborating with the QUALIFICA Center based in the Grouping of Schools of Anadia, having already carried out two training actions, one to complete the 9th year of schooling and another to complete the 12th year.
