The IEC promotes conferences on various topics, such as, for example, Science, Health, Education, among others, given by professors and researchers from universities and scientific research institutes with protocol with the IEC.

The conferences take place quarterly, and are organized in partnership with schools, the Oliveira do Bairro Library Network and the Senior University of Oliveira do Bairro. Thus, the conferences are attended by students and teachers, as well as by the general public.
